Bluebirds is a growing family oriented softball club for players of all ages and abilities. Further, on a personal level, the skills obtained in these volunteer positions are important skills that can be transferred to other community groups and the workforce. Our "team first" philosophy is just as important in these roles as it provides a strong foundation for our playing members. In addition to playing, administration, team management, we have opportunities for people to get involved in coaching, scoring and umpiring. This leads to a stronger team with stronger connections between teammates. By putting the team first you help to develop not only your own skills but the skills of all your teammates. Our motto is "When we put on our top, the name on the front is more important than the name on the back." Playing for Bluebirds is about putting your team and club first. We also provide the opportunity for players to trial and play for representative teams at association, state and national level. We have qualified coaches and access to development programs. Bluebirds provides opportunities for children, women and men of all ages and abilities to get involved in softball. (more).
