Automation systems Back Lines for automation systems. In the 1960s the founders were joined by Adrian and Alfredo, sons of Lanfranco Aurelia, who together with Giuseppe Gemmani would lead and make the company grow. Between 1986 and 1987 three acquisitions, designed to exaggerate the market share, were completed. The first to be acquired, in 1986, was Gabbiani, a leading beam sawing machine producer. In later years, through further acquisitions and product development (Superfici in 2004, CBC and Sergiani in 2006, Celaschi in 2007) the Group has expanded its product range to such breadth and depth that had no parallels in the industry, while keeping each company's expertise and special brands. In the early postwar years Celaschi provided overhaul service and fix of agricultural machinery. In the early 1960s it began producing squaring machines, the beginning of which had an colossal win at the 1961 international unbiased in Milan, thanks to its technological innovations and lofty production capacity. From a technological point of view, Celaschi has established numerous records, being among the first companies to present a variety of voluntary (for profiling and drilling), which make the squaring machines extremely flexible and capable to perform various types of machining. Currently, Celaschi is a technological world leader in the field of squaring and tenoning machines. It stands out, in particular, as manufacturer of machines that can provide any type of parquet, panels, doors, door elements made of either firm wood, wood panels or other nonfood materials. In its premature days, the company focused on designing and building custom machines to resolve customers' product handling problems. Another CBC commercial success, introduced during that time, was the automated horizontal press (APO), which was widely used by cabinet door producers, especially in the Triveneto area. Since the mid1980s CBC has developed machines for the packaging of furniture, doors, windows, parquet and all kinds of wood related products, as healthy as machines for product assembly. The first products to be marketed were vertical and horizontal sanders. DC then moved in to pack the void in such markets with its tall tech sanders whose performance and quality were equal or best to those of German competitors. It accelerated its internationalization process and experienced a huge commercial success. These were years of international triumph and of personal recognition, notably for Tassoni, who was awarded by Acimall for his innovations. It was a period of vast acquisitions which aroused great interest in the industry. And so, DC became the biggest world producer of sanding machines, judging by both sales and number of shipped products. In recent years DC has expanded its range of products, so that now, in addition to offering complete automated sanding solutions to the furniture and housing industries, it also markets solutions for processing surfaces of metals and advanced materials. The company operated out of a trivial shed in Verolanuova, Province of Brescia, but before long it had to look for a larger space. This experience was obvious in the first two models, the 30 and 40 series, of sawing machines which, though not as harsh as the prototype, were viewed as an extraordinary innovation because they created a fresh market in Italy. Upon joining LCM the company underwent a thorough industrial reorganization and rationalization of its product range while maintaining its high technological levels the company could successfully market apropos and reliable solutions for any industrial need. In recent years Gabbiani has been acclaimed also for its cell systems that include the Flexstore automated storage system along with the sawing machines, and for its angular sawing machines designed for extremely lofty productivity levels, flexibility and reliability.
